OFFICIAL RULES

a. Commencing at 12:01 am (ET) on April 3, 2006, enter in store or visit www.ducan.com and select the "Enter Now" icon to enter the Backyard Bucks Sweepstakes Contest and a chance to win a $1000 gift card. Contestants can either complete the entry form in store or online for a chance to win a bonus $1000 gift card. Enter both ways! Enter with your name, complete address, daytime telephone number, email address (if applicable) including our quick on-line registry (if applicable). Review the Official Rules (online only) and select the submit icon. To enter in store, fill out the entry form and put it into the entry box to be automatically entered into the Ducan Backyard Bucks Sweepstakes. Only one (1) email address may be used by any person to participate in the contest. Limit one in store entry and one online entry per person. The BONUS ON-LINE REGISTERING $1000 gift card can only be won by registering on-line at www.ducan.com. The winner(s) of a $1000 gift card awarded for a handwritten entry. The winner of the $1000 gift card awarded for an online entry must choose a gift card from a building centre that carries Ducan products. An online list of stores can be found on our website @ www.ducan.com
b. All entries must be received by Ducan Products Inc. on or before 11:59 PM (ET) on August 14, 2006 (the "Contest Closing Date"). All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. Draw date September 5, 2006.

1. GRAND PRIZE: There will be a total of 5 entry box $1000 gift cards available to be won. SECONDARY PRIZES: There will be 1 Secondary Grand Prize of a $1000 gift card (available to be won by registering online only). Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution. Ducan Products Ltd. (the "Sponsor") reserves the right, in the event that any prize or any component of a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute a similar prize or component of the prize of equal or greater value. A random draw will be made on September 5, 2006 at approximately 12:00 pm (ET) in Port Coquitlam, B.C. from among all eligible online and hand written entries.

2. DRAWS AND SELECTION PROCESS: The random draw will be held on September 5, 2006 at approximately 12:00 pm (ET) in Port Coquitlam, B.C. from among all eligible online and hand written entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date to select 5 handwritten, grand prize winners of a $1000 gift card. (Two $1000 gift cards for B.C.) (Two $1000 gift cards for Ontario) (One $1000 gift card for the combined provinces of Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan). Odds of being selected for a $1000 gift card depend on the total number of eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date. BONUS- One $1000 gift card will be given to a randomly chosen online registered participant.

3. Suitability for Publication. The Sponsor reserves the right to reject the entry of any entrant if the reproduction submitted with that entry as contemplated in these rules, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor acting in its absolute discretion, would be impractical or would violate or offend any law, regulation, order, governmental policy, public policy or third party's rights or could potentially expose the Sponsor to embarrassment, contempt, ridicule or adverse publicity or otherwise reflect unfavorably on the Sponsor or any of its products.

4. ELIGIBILITY: To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be a resident of Canada, residing in either B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario who has reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which he/she resides and who is not an employee of Ducan Products, their affiliated companies or agents, respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization or a member of such employee's immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled. There is no purchase necessary to be eligible to win.

5. GENERAL: By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions Ducan Products Inc., which are final.

6. In order to be declared the Grand Prize winner the Grand Prize entrant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release Form (the "Release Form") confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Grand Prize as awarded, without substitution, confirming that the Grand Prize is not transferable or convertible to cash, and releasing the Sponsor and their affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest organization and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Grand Prizes or this contest and consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province) and/or photographs, without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this contest. Release Form must be returned within the time period specified on the Release Form or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and the another entry will be contacted and he/she will be sent a Declaration and Release Form and the process will be repeated until such time that we have a declared Grand Prize winner. Grand Prize will be installed to the winner's address as indicated on the Release Form within 30 days of receipt of the Release Form.

7. Entrants release the Sponsor, from loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the contest or any Prize. By entering, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province) and/or photographs, without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this contest. The Grand Prize winner assigns all rights to his/her photograph to Ducan Products Inc. of Canada including publishing their photograph in future magazines and or publishing their photograph on any future promotional materials as the Sponsor requires.

8. The Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, falsified or destroyed entries and all such entries are void. The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a manner contrary to these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant and all entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.

9. The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, or suspend or to amend this contest at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the online portion of the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, such as tampering or infection by computer virus, the Sponsor reserves the right, to cancel the online portion of the contest and conduct the draws from all previously received online and written eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. The Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest including but not limited, to any damage to an entrant's computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of the entrant's participation in this contest.

10. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
